May 16, 2021 is an important day in our company's history. It marks the 27th Anniversary of French Caribbean International. Since 1994, we have assisted many thousands of clients with their personal hotel and villa accommodations. At the same time, our acclaimed FrenchCaribbean.com website has provided helpful information to millions of other travelers. Today, French Caribbean International continues to be recognized as the premier resource for the French West Indies.
So what are we doing to celebrate this big anniversary? We're taking a long and well-deserved vacation! For the next few months, we'll be taking a break from providing villa reservation services. Both new and repeat clients will be referred directly to our island partners. Of course, we will still work on enhancing FrenchCaribbean.com and creating new opportunities for our advertisers.
While the pandemic has had a devastating impact on global tourism, it was not a factor in our decision to take this holiday. In fact, we are confident there will be a huge rebound in tourism for the coming seasons due to all of the pent-up demand for travel. Good times are coming soon.
We fell in love (le coup de foudre) with the French West Indies during our first visit in 1978. The magical islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Barthélemy and St. Martin will always be in our hearts. We are proud to represent these sensational destinations and our French Caribbean adventure continues. The best part is all of the friends we've made along the way!
